Latest News & Events

1. 75th Anniversary of the Dieppe Raid

On August 17th, 2017, the world will take note of a commemoration 75 years in the making. The Dieppe Raid was a major Canadian battle, the likes of which, thankfully, are few in our annals. Whilst the men met with a prepared, determined and entrenched enemy, they nevertheless fought with courage and bravery beyond what could have been expected. This year as you reflect on their lives, we hope that you will stop by the Museum and pay your respects to the 553 Essex Scottish who fought on Red Beach, and, all Canadians engaged in the battle.

2. Volunteers Needed

Do you have skills in restoration, preservation or conservation? Or, maybe you are a master craftsman, painter or exhibit designer?
