The Charlie Campbell Memorial Museum at Kingsville Historical Park

was established to promote interest, education and research in the Military

and Civic History of the Kingsville-Essex County area.

1. Kingsville Heritage Walking Tour

 

We are part of the Kingsville Heritage Walking Tour. The doors to our museum were officially opened on August 12, 2000 with displays featuring the involvement of Essex County Militia in all conflicts, past and present. Booklets for the Tour are available at the museum.

 

2. New Displays

 

Two new displays featuring police uniforms from three different groups: the OPP, RCMP, and the Kingsville Police Force and a display of municipal flags from Gosfield North, Gosfield South, and Kingsville from pre-amalgamation until present are available. A recent article in the Kingsville Reporter on Jan 13, 2015 described the flags in detail.

 

3. Coming Displays

 

We are developing a display of unique panoramic group military pictures from the First and Second War.

 

4. Volunteers Needed

 

Some of the opportunities are in Bingo Fundraising, summer gardening and special projects. Come out and help, learn, and have fun!

 

Individual and Groups always welcome.  We are open on Weekends and by Appointment
